I’m running to bring balanced, practical leadership to District 13.

I’m a lifelong South Dakotan, raised just outside Sioux Falls and shaped by the growing communities of Harrisburg and Minnehaha County. I grew up in the Harrisburg School District and graduated from Lincoln High School before heading to the University of Northern Iowa, where I earned my degree in Communication.

Communication has always been at the center of my work. After college, I returned to Lincoln High as an assistant speech coach, helping students find their voice and build confidence—something I still believe is one of the most important skills we can give the next generation.

Professionally, I work in recruiting, connecting people with opportunities that help them grow and succeed. My work focuses on building relationships, listening closely, and helping both individuals and organizations find the right fit. It’s work that’s grounded in people—understanding their goals, their challenges, and what it takes to move forward.

I live in Sioux Falls with my husband, Nick, and our rescue dog, Alfie. This community is home, and it’s where I’ve built my life, my career, and my commitment to public service.

I’m running for State House because I believe District 13 deserves thoughtful, responsive, and balanced representation. I’ve seen firsthand how much progress we can make when we listen to each other and work together—and I’m ready to keep building on that momentum.
